FAQ's

Q: When should I book you for my wedding date?

A: Honestly? As soon as you set your date, book your venue,  & begin booking other vendors. With the recent wedding boom we are in, most vendors are booking 1-2 years in advance for events. If you have your heart set on a hair and/or makeup artist (along with any other vendors) I recommend booking them as soon as possible, especially if your date is within the peak wedding seasons.

Q: What products do you carry in your professional kit?

A: For years I have collected, tested, and researched to find some of the best makeup products for professional makeup. Included my luxury pro kit for clients, I use all different types of brands including MAC, NARS, Charlotte Tilbury, Dior, Face Atelier, Anastasia Beverly Hills, RCMA, Laura Mercier, and many more.

Q: How long do wedding services take?

A: For weddings, I allot 60-90 minutes for the bride and 45 minutes for each bridesmaid. Bridal makeup tends to take longer because it's your special day and I like to be sure we have plenty of time to pamper, relax, & perfect your wedding day look!

Q: What are the requirements for booking?

A: In order to successfully secure your wedding date on my calendar, a $75.00 deposit and signed contract agreement are both required. Since I run on a first come, first serve basis, I am unable to hold dates without those two requirements. Without those two requirements, your date will be available for others to book.

Q: Do you travel? If so, is there a travel fee?

A: Yes! I love to travel to my clients and am available to provide on-location makeup services for weddings and other events. However, I do have an in-home studio space where I do makeup services for bridal trials, photoshoots, etc. As for a travel fee, I provide 20-miles free of charge from my location of Lexington, NC. After that, there is an additional charge per mile traveled.

Q: How long will my wedding day makeup last?

A: Your makeup will last you all day and night long, so be sure to wash your face before bed! I use a wide range of trusted and long lasting products on my brides to ensure that your makeup stays in place for your day/night.

Q: Do I need a firm headcount prior to booking?

A: Yes. A headcount is required upon booking. Reason being, is because if you have a larger bridal party and/or there is a conflict with timing, a second artist will be needed. We have to allow plenty of time to secure that other artist for your wedding date.

Q: Will my photos be posted publicly on your website or social media platforms?

A: I respect your privacy and allow each client to decide whether or not they want their photos displayed publicly. I’d love to show off you & my artistry work, but if not that is okay too! If you wish to not have your photos on social media, please let me know and I will 100% respect your wishes.

Q: Do you offer trial makeup runs for brides?

A: Yes! If there is one major thing I can recommend when booking me or any other artist for your wedding day, it would definitely be to schedule a trial run. Though they are not required, it is the perfect time for us to meet each other, discuss the details, and create the most perfect look for your wedding day.

Q: How does timing work for the wedding day?

A: I will curate a detailed timeline for your wedding day and/or event services as soon as I have the exact time you need to have all makeup applications completed. This timeline will include detailed time slots for each bridal party members' services.  At the end, I will provide touch ups to those who are in need and be sure their makeup still looks perfect before photos & the ceremony!
